Reviews This review is from: Epson WorkForce 545 Color Inkjet Wireless All-In-One Printer and Copier with Fax (C11CB88201) (Office Product) I read the reviews on here and was surprised… someone said “hard to set up”. All I can say is “Did you remember to turn it on?” I took it out of the box, plugged it into the wall, used the menu to attach to my wireless network. It said connected. I walked over to my iMac and added the printer (worked great). Then i took out my iPad and iPhone and printed to it using AirPrint technology. No hassle, no confusion. Maybe the last guy had a dud. Great printer! Pros: Compact Design; Easy To Use; Easy To Setup Cons: Flimsy Construction Have had this about two weeks. Set up very quickly with my MACs – just follow the few steps and start printing. Scanning using WiFi does not work with Snow Leopard or Lion (said to work via USB connection). I suspect this model is being phased out, and to my knowledge, Epson has never gone back and upgraded the driver for an “out of date” model. Workforce 545 is very reasonably priced, and apparently this was achieved in part by very light construction. The paper tray, the printed paper catcher, the swivel control panel, etc. won’t take much abuse i.e. don’t buy this for a community printer for a lot of people. It won’t take the range of abuse inflicted on printers in a large office. But it does a good job in an office with a few users who will be thoughtful when using the machine, good quality, good speed, reliable machine. Was this review helpful?
